Never bashful about sharing his views, Mayor Michael Bloomberg has taken to Twitter to share career advice. In a tweet last week, the mayor recommended 5 tips for becoming a successful entrepreneur. Given Twitter’s 140-character limit, he had to make it brief: “Take risks. Make your own luck. Be persistent. Never stop learning. Give back.”
Bloomberg explained in a LinkedIn post that the tips are based on his experience building his own business-information giant, as mayor of NYC for the past 11+ years, and as the founder of a philanthropic organization.
